Random Reason #1: Amazon Serenity Blu-Ray Sales

The Blu-ray of Serenity has been on Amazon's top 100 best sellers in Blu-rays list for 332 days now. Every other film that has been on the best sellers list for that long has a sequel in the works. Why not Serenity?

Serenity is currently in the sixth position, gaining several positions after being on sale for $9.99 for the past several days.

By the way, if you haven't already, go buy yourself a copy. While you're at it, buy your friends and family a copy, too.

The initial DVD release, the special edition DVD release, and now the Blu-ray of Serenity have all sold extremely well.

If Universal doesn't want to drop the money on a full theatrical release (why not?), they have absolutely no excuse not to fund a direct-to-DVD/Blu-ray release.

Too Damn Pretty to Die

Mal: "We're not gonna die. We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so...very...pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die."

Hi.

I'm a browncoat. A recent convert.

This blog is a sort of plea. A sort of list of reasons, too.

After consuming Firefly on DVD and the incredible (and miraculous) Serenity, I was left wanting more. Not a whole lot more. Just a little something. We all know there's more story to tell here.

And none of us want to leave Mal and the gang behind just yet.

This blog is a campaign to get a sequel/prequel to Serenity greenlit by Universal Pictures.

We will succeed. Serenity is just too damn pretty to die.
